Since being established SCHOOLS NorthEast has been gathering the views of Head Teachers on the issues and areas of work which you would most like additional support.

We currently support or are associated with a number of ground-breaking projects across the region. SCHOOLS NorthEast are also developing a range of services to support Head Teachers and schools. These will be offered through relationships with relevant experts from business, universities and education and provide support and extra capacity in a wide range of areas including:

• Accessing and bidding for funding

• Talent attraction and recruitment

• Practical marketing and PR assistance: media training, events organisation and website development

• IT network support and database development

• Project management and strategic planning

• Procurement and group purchasing

• Income generation and enterprise activities

• Employer engagement and business links

• Networking and relationship development
