Scenario Planning

One of the main aims of SCHOOLS NorthEast is to influence regional and national policy and in doing so strengthen the links between schools and the region's economic development. As part of this there is a need to share knowledge and expertise across the region, conduct research, develop partnerships and networks, and create “Best” and “Next” practice through scenario planning.

This project will leverage the knowledge and experience of serving and retired Head Teachers and appropriate experts to discover solutions to regional and sub-regional educational problems. This “Think Tank” will implement pioneering projects to demonstrate what can be accomplished and support informed regional debate. It will support schools to engage effectively with North East employers. In doing so, it will create publicity and advocate on behalf of North East schools, promoting their quality and diversity.
