Unis Into Schools – Project Support

A central aim of SCHOOLS NorthEast is to build capacity within the North East’s schools and in doing so strengthen the links between schools and the region's economic development. As part of this there is a need to enable schools to access knowledge and expertise across the region, which would normally be outside of their current capabilities. It is imperative to enable this access in a cost-effective and timely fashion.

This resource will leverage the knowledge and expertise of the North East’s universities’ student bodies. It will strengthen links between schools and their universities and provide our students with invaluable experience of the world of work.

Managing a school can leave little in terms of time or resources to tackle anything other than centrally dictated issues. The project will enable access to expertise at under and post graduate levels on a flexible, short, or long term basis.
