SCHOOLS NorthEast's FutureReady Conference, held in partnership with the National Careers Service, will focus on the knowledge and experiences, along with the key attributes and attitudes, a young person needs to succeed in the 21st century.
The conference will include focussed sessions for primary schools and secondary schools exploring how young people can be inspired, informed and supported from cradle to career.

The secondary programme will include sessions on:
• Careers guidance & advice
• Inspiration & work experience
• Character & employability skills
The primary programme will include sessions on:
• Providing a fair start
• Character, confidence & resilience
• Inspiration & nurturing aspiration
Venue
The venue for the conference will be the Xcel Centre, Aycliffe Business Park, County Durham DL5 6AP. This is located just north of Darlington, which is on the main East Coast rail line.
Audience
This event is relevant to: Head Teachers and school leaders, Careers leads and School Governors.
Exhibition
Over lunch and coffee breaks, delegates will have the opportunity to visit our exhibition of specially selected organisations each of which can provide further support for schools.

Cost
The cost of attendance is £100+VAT Secondary Schools; £75+VAT Primary / Special Schools; £150+VAT Non Schools.
SCHOOLS NorthEast Partner Schools receive a discounted rate: £75+VAT Secondary Partner Schools; £50+VAT Primary / Special Partner Schools.
SCHOOLS NorthEast Commercial Supporters & Education Supporters receive a discounted rate of £100+VAT.
